Carriers Suspend Data Caps During Coronavirus (COVID-19)

 

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is providing the following assistance to their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic:
• ALL current T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers who have plans with data will have unlimited smartphone data for the next 60 days.
• Providing T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers and additional 20 GB of mobile hotspot/tethering service for the next 60 days.
• Working with Lifeline partners to provide customers extra fee data, up to 5GB per month over the next two months.

AT&T

AT&T is providing the following assistance to their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic:
• Open their Public WiFi Hotspots to anyone needing them
• Providing unlimited HOME Internet access to AT&T customers
• waiving late fees, not terminating service based on ability to not pay due to coronavirus pandemic.

Sprint

Sprint is providing the following assistance to their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic:
• Waiving late fees, and not terminating service if customers are unable to pay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Sprint Customers with metered data plans will receive unlimited data for the next 60 days at no extra cost.
• Will provide Sprint customers with an additional 20GB of mobile hotspot data per month for the next 60 days.

Verizon

Verizon is providing the following assistance to their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic:
• Verizon will not terminate service to any residential or small business customer because of inability to pay due to disruptions cause by the c       coronavirus.
• Verizon advises that is offers its customers a variety of wireless and home broadband plans. Most customers are on unlimited wireless plans.    Customers that are not are encouraged to connect to WiFi hotspots wherever available.
