A Message from the Union County Court and 8th Judicial Circuit, March 17, 2020

A Message from the Union County Court and 8th Judicial Circuit:

Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) concerns, all court appearances from March 16-27, 2020, for Union County have been continued to a later date. Notices to Appear will be forthcoming from the Clerk of Court. The Court is open, however, we are maximizing the use of electronic filing and telephonic appearances. Any procedural rules that prohibited the use of telephonic appearances have been suspended during this time period. If something is time sensitive and must be filed within this time frame, most pleadings can be filed through the Florida Courts E-Portal. You do not need to be an attorney to file through the e-Portal. There is an option for pro se (self-represented) parties to register and file their own legal pleadings. If something must be filed or addressed in person, please contact the Clerk of Court or Judicial Chambers and each matter will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Below is further guidance from the Florida Supreme Court and 8th Judicial Circuit. There are also links to the Florida Courts E-Portal and the 8th Judicial Circuit’s Twitter.
