We have many U.S. Military Veterans that served our great nation to help preserve the freedoms too many take for granted. I trust that many veterans, their family members, their friends, and those who are grateful will attend the Union County Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2019 to pay their respect to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. The Union County Memorial Day Ceremony will be held next to the Masonic Lodge in downtown Lake Butler, and begins at 8:45am. It will feature Col (Ret) Danny McKnight, our guest speaker and one of the commanders associated with the phrase, “We have a black hawk down”.
Please see the attached flyer for more info, or visit: Union County Memorial Day Ceremony 2019 on Facebook.
