After a enjoyable meal shared by 15 Lake Butler rotarians, along with a few guests, our prayer for the food was given by Judge Mitchell Bishop, the Pledge was led by Dale Walker, and guest Rotarian Harvey Baxter led a beautiful rendition of America the Beautiful.
President Reagan presented the past President honors plaques to former presidents Shane Collins and Sheriff Brad Whitehead for their individual years of service as president of our club.


Today’s guests were Isla Bishop, the oldest daughter of Mitchell Bishop and Nancy Pape, guest of Ted Barber. Ms. Pape made the blue Rotary banners that have been given out at various times by Rotary, as well as being the one who made the letters for the past presidents plaque.
Fellow Rotarian Harvey Baxter briefly talked about the Guatemalan Literacy Project that he works with, as he is going to Guatemala this weekend, and he promised to update our club further about the project when he returns.
Joe Stephenson had our program today, and he talked about his experience over the past few years as he has become an insurance adjuster. As an adjuster, he is the representative of the insurance agency that assesses property damages.
