After an enjoyable meal shared by 15 Lake Butler rotarians, President Brian Reagan opened the meeting. Our prayer for the food was given by Jody Reed, the Pledge was led by Alexandra Pritchett, and Shane Collins led the club in a rendition of Take me out to the ball game in honor of college football returning.
The trivia question this week was “On this day in 1997, Princess Diana dies in a car accident in Paris, shortly after midnight. However, she wasn’t the only person in the car. How many people were in the car, and how many died in the accident?” The correct answer was 4, with 3 dying in the accident.
Filling in for our program today, President Brian Reagan gave a brief update regarding the fireworks for the Lake Butler Centennial Celebration.
