After an enjoyable meal shared by 18 Lake Butler Rotarians, along with several guests, President Brian Reagan opened our meeting. Our prayer for the food was given by Shane Collins.
The trivia question this week was “On this day in 1983, the title track for the best selling album of all time was released. What was the name of the track and who was the musical artist?” Several Rotarians correctly guessed Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
Today’s special guest was Rotary’s district governor for our area Richard Cooper. Coop spoke to our club about his journey through Rotary, and how he became the district governor for our area. He encouraged our members to continue to form friendships and network to help strengthen our community.
